International cohorts of coaches supporting and challenging each other.

Offering

MVMT offers membership to selected cohorts of basketball coaches who want to achieve both sporting results and impact on people.

More than just a learning programme, the cohorts connect thoughtful coaches with each other in highly curated and supported groups led by MVMT co-founder Alan Keane alongside other facilitators.

12-month membership includes 10 group calls on impactful topics, 6 one-to-one reflection calls and regular discussion via a WhatsApp group chat.

Cohorts of up to 15 coaches across two tiers of support are offered:
– Tier 1 contains one global cohort, open to both male and female coaches who are coaching full-time, supported by MVMT co-founder Alan Keane
– Tier 2 cohorts are supported on one-to-one reflection calls by MVMT facilitators, and join the Tier 1 cohort for all 10 group calls

This opportunity is only offered to coaches who are committed to growing themselves and their coaching.

who it's for

MVMT Membership is not for everyone. The cohorts are carefully selected to ensure Members are committed to their own growth while also contributing to the growth of others. Up to 15 coaches are accepted into a cohort at any one time.

MVMT Membership is for coaches who:

Coach at the high school, college, university, academy, club or national team levels

Want to put people first and improve the performance of their team

What we offer

MVMT membership offers a mix of structured group calls, one-to-one reflection calls and regular group chat.

Group Calls x10

2-hour zoom calls, led by Alan Keane on impactful topics such as:

1. Know your strengths

Identifying your coaching strengths and developing an awareness of the personal drivers for coaching

2. Plan-Do-Review

A deep dive into preparing and reviewing effectively for practice and game performance to enable coaches and players to be at their best

3. Hot Seat

Exclusive and confidential discussions with Performance Directors and established Head Coaches

4. Q&A’s with discipline experts

Hear from non-basketball experts in their fields share and transfer their ideas to your coaching

5. Interactive Tech-Tac

Coaches share experience and perspectives while discussing what-would-you-do coaching scenarios

6. Maximising practice time

Delivering sessions that enhance player well-being, learning, decision-making and performance (drills, games and approaches)

7. In-game coaching approaches

Being intentional with all aspects of coaching during and after games

8. Season plan / review processes

Systematically reviewing a season and planning for the next one via sharing of ideas and formats.

9. Coach mindset and behaviours

Strategies and approaches for being the coach you want to be for the people you coach

10. Connecting with players

Developing a system for proactively connecting with the people we coach and having challenging conversations

One-to-one calls x6

One-to-one reflection calls are held with an experienced facilitator over zoom to support each coach to become more intentional about their craft. The sessions would be informed by the plan-do-review cycle of the coaches with a focus on supporting them to implement their reflections with their team. Topics for discussion are driven by the coach and could cover anything from technical-tactical to connecting with players to collaborating with assistants or whatever is most relevant to the coach.

Coaches book calls with their facilitator at times that work for them during stages of the season when they need the most support.

Plan-do-review tools

All Members are provided with unique coaching tools developed by MVMT to guide coaches through a supported process of planning, delivering and reviewing their practices and games. Products include the Practice Planner, Game Card and Playbook (and more in development).

Coach Chat group

Critical to the creation of a sense of community among the coaches is a coaches chat group in which questions can be asked, successes celebrated and insights shared. Specifically coaches are encouraged to post photos of the practice/games plans and reviews. The group will be curated and supported by their facilitator.

Monthly cost:

Tier 1 cohort led by Alan:
$100 USD / £80 GBP / $135 CAN / €90 EURO

Tier 2 cohorts led by facilitators:
$80 USD / £65 GBP / $105 CAN / €75 EURO

In order to create impact for coaches, membership periods are 12 months with the option to renew for additional periods.

Alan Keane leads the Tier 1 global cohort.

Tier 2 cohorts are led by experienced facilitators in North America, UK and Europe.

At any time a coach or MVMT can decide the membership is not working for them. Pro rata refund available.

Payment can be made monthly or annually.

We welcome contact from sports bodies to discuss multiple memberships for a number of coaches.

A bespoke Membership package can be agreed for a coach who wants additional support such as extra one-to-one calls during an intense part of the season or to support a particular challenge.
